Situated in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, Hewell Cricket Club is a small cricket club, we now have two Saturday XI League teams and one Sunday XI.The club has been in existence since 1856 and we are constantly looking for new members to join us to ensure we enjoy another 150 years. We expanded to 2 Saturday teams in 2008, and will continue to build and move the club forward, hopefully building a junior section in the near future.
We play in the Crusader Worcestershire County League, and in 2009 the club achieved promotion to Division 3 for 2010 this is the 3rd Season running we have been promoted, so shows how great we are doing in growing as a club.
The club has a refurbished club house to a high standard and upgraded the facilities to include a new kitchen and bar area, new toilets, new showers, changing rooms, and is a welcoming and inviting place to gather socially.
We plan to hold various nights to raise funds for the club throughout the season and into the winter months.
Every Wednesday we have a club night which during the season involves practice for players, but is also an opportunity for others to socialise, so please come and join us every week, all year round!!
